The Point Pelee National Park of Canada is located at the south of Canada, being close to Leamington in Ontario. It is a very small park, encompassing only 15 square kilometers, but it is a park with tradition, being opened since 1915. The scenery is made up of a peninsula that is marshy and contains woodlands, and it extends into Lake Erie. In spring, the park is a migration corridor for birds and butterflies, so it is a great show to watch in this small green oasis. There are over 350 species of birds in the area, so it is a meeting point for many birdwatchers. However, even for the others, the Point Pelee is a great place to spend some relaxing time while walking on the marsh lands or on the shore.
