Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve of Canada
This area was established by the Government of Canada together with the Council of Haida Nation though an agreement in 1993. The result was a place of unique beauty called Gwaii Haanas, which is presently under the protection of the two parties, even if the area's ownership is still questionable. The Reserve covers 1495 square kilometers. See the splendor of the Pacific coast and the ecosystem of the region and you will be amazed. You will also observe the special link of the Haida with the nature, land and sea. The Haida culture is still alive, and you can enrich your soul with a special spiritual experience that the Haida has to offer.
